Romantica of Devon: Summer 2022

Our brand new Romantica dresses have started to arrive and we cannot wait to share them with you!

Romantica is a family owned and run British business since their inception/creation over 30 years ago. Starting out with Sally as the designer and factory manager and her husband Mike as Sales Director they set up with the assistance of 20 machinists in a small factory in the heart of the Devon countryside. Quickly expanding the brand over the coming years as the designs evolved, over 30 years later they still operate in the Devon countryside and 3 more members of the family have joined the business and continue to drive the Romantica legacy forward.

At Because I Love You we stock the main Romantica bridal collection and Romantica plus size collection, Silhouette. We love Romantica of Devon dresses as do our brides. The fabrics used, designs created and detailing are always unique. They design dresses for every bride and every wedding style, there is something in their collection for everybody who walks through our door. The quality of the Romantica dresses are second to none and their prices are fantastic. Our hand picked choices from their new collection are now ready to try on in store and add to our current picks from Romantica's previous collections. Now the new additions have arrived we thought we'd share some of our favourites with you.

Theodora

When we previewed the dresses on Instagram this was your favourite! A classic A-Line with a modern illusion bodice. Stunning floral lace with hand beaded detailing on straps and bodice. Illusion lace panelling on the sides and back. This is the perfect choice for a royal bridal moment, classic, sophisticated and so flattering. Style with a tousled up do and pearl jewellery for a timeless bridal look.

Macie

This romantic tulle ball gown has a pleated bodice with an intricately hand bead belt, and detachable spaghetti straps. This is a classic bridal style, that will flatter a variety of shapes and sizes, we have a size 10 and a size 20 in store in Ivory and Ivory/Blush. Style with a half up, half down hair style and single drop necklace and earrings to finish your bridal look.

Antonella

This stunning fishtail gown stuns using intricate lace to decorate the lightweight tulle. Finished with a plunge neckline and a scoop back. Layers of sequined and glitter tulle catch the light perfectly, with added detail from a hand beaded belt. Our sample is Ivory/Pink but it's also available in All Ivory. This would be perfect for a destination wedding as it's light and not too fitted but still shows off a brides curves.

Bella Marie

A stunning feminine dress made from tulle and lace featuring a beautiful illusion neckline, the off the shoulder look hides to the of your arms and opens up the neckline. We can just imagine you twirling around the dance floor in this beautiful ballgown dress. We would finish with a full length veil.

Mila Jane

A beautiful full skirted ballgown with a lace bodice and cap sleeve - she is also available with a lined bodice. This is the perfect plus size boho gown, pretty lace, capped sleeve and a lightweight tulle. A floral headband of wildflowers and no veil would be the perfect finishing touches for your boho wedding.
